Menguante Garnacha - Spain

Home is where you feel at home and are treated well.” — Dalai Lama

Is home where you live? Is it the place? The people? The love? Where do you find yourself most at home?

I've been pondering the concept of home lately, due to various reasons. To me, home is a place of comfort, where I am greeted as a familiar face and feel a deep sense of love, connection, and peace. And I am currently in the process of relocating my home. Thinking a lot about ‘home’

Menguante Garnache is a term used in Spanish to describe the phenomenon of a waning moon. It is a time when the moon appears smaller each night and is a symbol of change and renewal. 🌛🌜

Being at home is an important aspect of life, as it is where we can feel safe and secure. It is a place to relax, recharge and connect with loved ones.

One way to do this is to embrace the changing moods and patterns of life, just as the Menguante Garnache reflects the cyclical nature of the moon. This can be done by finding new ways to enjoy time at home, whether it's through hobbies, learning new skills, or simply spending quality time with family and friends.🍷

In terms of tasting notes, Menguante Garnacha wine is about:

- medium- to full-bodied structure

- juicy red fruit flavors like cherries, raspberries, and strawberries

- it may also have spicy or herbal notes, as well as hints of leather, tobacco, or earth.

To say this month is going to be busy is an understatement. But I’m ready! Been working on that whole “balance” thing and I’m finding a bit of a groove (this week at least 😂). So let’s do this!⁣

Cheers and here’s to an adventurous new month of February!
