Wine in Lanzarote

Literally 20 minutes after landing in Lanzarote…

Welcome to the foothills of the Timanfaya National Park 🤩

I mean… what a welcome to the region with the main grape variety, the ‘Volcanic Malvasia’ .

Time for the first sips:

* Sight: transparent in color, with golden reflections

* Nose: aromatic and intense on the nose

* Palate: characterized by a bouquet of honeysuckle, jasmine, and tropical fruit with flavors of ripe pear, citrus, peach, honey, star anise, and Asian spice

And we can say: these light styles are crisp, and goes wonderful with fish & seafood, cheeses, potatoes and any dessert.😋

Good to know: It is the most cultivated grape on the island, and the grape is exclusive to Lanzarote.
