Le Blanc - France

“We do not remember the days. We remember the moments.”

Last week, I was fortunate enough to have a couple of those memorable moments with two exceptional beauties that I couldn't help but admire - a French lady I met in Chicago during her time working for Gerard Betrard, and a remarkable white wine from Southwestern France.

Both discoveries were truly remarkable, and I couldn't be happier to have experienced them again. 😍🤩

Quick zoom in the wine

👀 a pale lemon color

👃 a floral, citrusy aroma of lemon, grapefruit, green apple gooseberry,

👅 on the palate, it was a fresh and elegant wine, with the perfect volume and roundness, offering a mineral & refreshing finish. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now but also has the potential to age beautifully.

The wine is made from two grape varieties: Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng, Grown on clay-limestone soil that has been abandoned for over half a century in the Pyrenean Piedmont region.

These discoveries we made at Quarter Gabriel, a contemporary restaurant in #grenoble where the concept is just as delightful as the menu itself (food & wine).

Let’s raise a glass to the moments and friendships, cheers to great experiences and the people who make them possible!
