Dehesa La Granja's Tempranillo - Spain

Good morning, fellow wine enthusiasts,

Ah, the wine-old question: from which hour are you officially allowed to drink? My vote goes for 10.00 AM 😶🙈.

I mean, this particular bottle was just staring at me for too long, so naturally, it had to be opened.

Let me share a bit about this special bottle. It hails from one of our unforgettable Spanish trips, exploring the vineyards of Castilla y León, Spain. 🇪🇸🍇 This region's diverse landscapes and climates set the stage for crafting exceptional wines.

This one that stood out from the region is Dehesa La Granja's Tempranillo. 🍇🍷

* 👁️: Revel in its deep ruby red hue.

* 👃 Intense and complex, offering notes of ripe red fruits, vanilla, and spices.

* 👅: A full-bodied, well-structured delight with ripe fruit flavors, hints of oak, and a long, persistent finish.

Do you know about the Tempranillo grape? Let me share a bit, as I am now drinking it anywise at 10 in the morning :)

🍷 Origin: Derived from the Spanish word "temprano," meaning early, reflecting its tendency to ripen earlier than some other varieties.

🍷Appearance: Small and thick-skinned, yielding wines with a deep ruby red to garnet color.

🍷Flavor Profile: Think red and black fruit like cherry and blackberry, complemented by notes of vanilla, leather, and tobacco. Often, moderate acidity and tannins grace these wines.

🍷Aging Potential: Ah, the beauty of Tempranillo lies in its aging potential, developing complexity over time, especially when aged in oak barrels.

Cheers, my dears. May your glasses stay full, regardless of the hour!

Let's dive into more wine moments this week! Who's ready? 🥂

Sip, smile, repeat, 🍷
