Chat Sauvage Schulz - Germany

A great wine begins in the vineyard, but it is for us to determine the manner in which we will give voice to the grapes….” — Fabrice Pouillon

Celebrating family and legacy with a bottle of Le Schulz! 🍷✨ When your partner’s last name is Schulz, and he gets a daughter that will be called Schulz too, finding a vineyard with the same name becomes a must-stop. We did just that in July last year, and today calls for opening a bottle with the whole family.

Pinot Noir from Chat Sauvage:

👁️ Appearance: Dressed in a deep ruby robe, radiating elegance in every pour.

👃 Aroma: A symphony of aromas fills the air, with notes of dark berries, subtle spices, and a touch of oak.

👅 Palate: A refined palate unfolds, revealing rich flavors of blackberries and plums, accompanied by hints of vanilla. Velvety tannins and a lingering finish leave a lasting impression.

Visiting the vineyard and uncorking this bottle transports us back in time, reliving the passion and effort that goes into crafting these grower Pinot Noirs. Pinot Noir grapes, ripened in the best locations in the Rheingau, should be grown according to traditional production methods from Bourgogne. The complex minerality of the soil ensures finesse and filigree—a wonderful liaison for Burgundy.

Lets celebrate the little Schulz, our newest family member who entered our lives in October. Just it should be La Schulz :), guess my partner is still happy with a Le Schulz :) 🥂

Happy weekend, friends! What’s in your glass this weekend? 🍾✨
