Valentine’s week is all about love right? ⁣

Well, for me that also means friends & family. You know, the ones that support you no matter what, pick you up when you’re down, wipe your tears (or just let you cry it out), kick you in the butt when it’s needed (call you on your BS), laugh with you until it hurts, are part of your best adventures and even your most mundane of days. They’re your people. And sometimes you meet them on Instagram. 😉 ⁣

And for this special person or crew, what says love more than this one: Gimonnet-Henry Blanc de Blancs Cuis Brut Champagne Premier Cru

It shines with a yellow-gold color in the glass, shows a bouquet with dried pome fruit, ripe quinces, freshly baked brioche and smoky notes and conjures up a small taste explosion on the palate with its creamy, fruity and fine taste and the profound finale. A real true ambassador of artisanal champagne.

I couldn’t think of a better wine to celebrate the persistence, passion and courage it takes to forge a life together, to keep the fires raging, to weather the peaks and valleys, and to do so with a raw, graceful strength. It’s not always pretty, but it’s surely always beautiful.⁣

This non vintage Champagne is actually always a blend of 5 vintages.  The grapes are hand harvested and pressed in phases, and now one of my favorite ones for its power, structure and beauty and for the special meaning it has in our story.

Are we silly? Totally! But life’s too darn short and all the love is worth celebrating - and sharing!
